Hydraulic work that keeps plant running
Most of what we do is a hose replacement at the roadside or in a yard. But we also handle the jobs that come after a hose goes: cylinders, pumps, fittings and the inspections that stop it happening again.

- You call or send the form. Tell us the machine, roughly where the hose has gone and your postcode. A photo of the fitting saves a lot of guesswork.
- We tell you what it will cost. You get a price and a realistic arrival time before we set off, not after we have finished.
- We come to the machine. Hoses are made up on site to the length and fitting you actually need, rather than swapped for the nearest thing on the van.
- You are back working. The old hose goes with us, the new one carries a two-year warranty, and you get the paperwork for your records.
Why we are cheaper than a national
Nationwide breakdown networks subcontract the work and add a margin on top. We are the engineer who turns up, so there is no middle layer to pay for.
That is also why we can be straight with you when a repair is not worth doing — we are not working to someone else’s parts target.
Across the West Midlands
These are the towns we get to most often. If you are just outside, call anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you in a useful timeframe.

Read the guideCommon questions
Do you charge to come out and look?
No. If we attend and cannot complete the repair, you are not paying for the visit. That is deliberate: charging to look would give us a reason to find work.
How quickly can you get to me?
It depends where you are and what else is on. You will get a realistic arrival time on the phone before we set off, rather than a standard promise we then miss.
What does the two-year warranty cover?
The hose and fittings we supply, against failure in normal use. It does not cover abrasion, crush damage, or a hose run outside its pressure or temperature rating. Terms apply.
Are you really cheaper than a nationwide callout?
Generally yes, and the reason is structural rather than a discount. National networks take the call and subcontract to a local engineer, so you pay that engineer plus a margin. We are the engineer.
Do you work out of hours and at weekends?
Yes. Plant tends to break when it is being used, which is often evenings and weekends, so it is normal work rather than an exception.
Can you make hoses up without fitting them?
Yes. We are happy to make assemblies for your own fitters, singly or as a batch for a fleet. The warranty then covers the assembly rather than the installation.
